Industrial career
1993 – 1999 : he begins his career in the industry where he works in the design of power electronics circuits and magnetic components for railway applications.
1999 – 2002 : he works as a researcher for the optimization of permanent magnet generators applied to wind turbines.
2001 : he founds the company Eocycle Technologies.
Between 2002 and 2018, Maxime Dubois eng. Ph. D., undertakes a variety of industrial projects and tech company start-ups, along with an active career as a university professor with research projects in the field of power electronics and magnetic design.
Universities
Between 2004 and 2018, he is appointed as a professor of electrical engineering at Université Laval (Canada) and at Université de Sherbrooke (Canada), where he supervises research projects of more than 50 undergrad and graduate students. He publishes extensively in recognized journals like IEEE Transaction on Power Electronics, Magnetics or Industrial Electronics. He has published more than 85 scientific articles and holds 6 patents. His work is cited worldwide by more than 2100 authors (https://bit.ly/3xpbfIW).
Consulting – Dubois-ing-PhD
Entre 2007 et 2018, he also works as a part-time consultant in addition to his appointment as a university professor. In the course of these 11 years, he developed many links with the industry along with a solid base of clients who contact him on a regular basis to help identify solutions to their industrial problems or to be mandated as an expert before the court.
Since january 2019, Dubois-ing-PhD and his team have been working full-time to serve a clientele of more than 40 corporate clients, from SMEs to large companies.
In July 2022, the Mandragor Technologies corporation has been created and now oversees the scientific activities of Dubois-ing-PhD.
